Alleged Siphoning Of Pipeline Surveillance Contract: Urhobo, Isoko Ex-Agitators Give 7 Days Ultimatum To EFCC To Arrest, Prosecute Omo-Agege

For allegedly Siphoning pipeline surveillance contract funds meant for Urhobo and Isoko Youths through a proxy name Jimmy Agege, Ex- Agitators of Urhobo and Isoko Youths today Thursday 09/03/23 gave 7 days ultimatum to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest and prosecute Deputy Senate President Olorogun Ovie Omo-agege.
In a press statement made available to newsmen in Udu during the group peaceful protest presented Godspower Okoro reads:

Based on the exigencies at the moment it has become paramount and imperative for us the Ex – Agitators of Urhobo and lsoko Ethnic Nationality
to stage a peaceful protest to let the whole world about the evil schemes of Senator Ovie Omo Agege who has taken over the Pipeline Surveilance Contract meant for the Urhobo and lsoko Natons.

Since, he (Ovie Omo-agege) has refused to listen to the voice of reason to remove his hands from this our God given opportunity we unequivocally declare as follows:

Commencing from today, March 9 ,2023 we hereby issue a seven days notice to the EFCC to arrest Senator Ovie Omo-agege and let him explain to the whole world what happened to the pipeline surveillance contracts funds meant for Urhobo and Isoko youths

Ordinarily we wouldn’t have joined issues with OMOAGEGE our Orogun Senator, in staging todays peaceful protest march, knowing fully well that the Orogun Senator, will learn a lesson one week from now that power belongs to the people via the ballot box.

However, we are saddened by his recent display of lack of empathy, and human consideration, wherein our Orogun Senator acquired a new Private jet aircraft, with funds meant for the payment of persons who are supposed to be guarding NNPCL pipeline that trasverses the length and breath of Urhobo and Isoko land .

Unlike High Chiéf Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo and Chiéf Emami Ayiri. Who have since commenced work and the payment of the youths of their Ethnic Nationalities as far as the Pipeline Surveilance Contract is concerned.

Lamentably, the same testimony can not be said of Urhobo and Isoko youths who has been pushed aside. Today, our Orogun Senator is busy cajouling our youths to tender a hand written resignation letter stating that they have defected to APC, with a promise before their names can be included to be part of the Surveillance contract and also to support him hook line and sinker
so that so that OMOAGEGE can be
sworn in as Delta state governor.

I wish to end this address by reminding the EFCC that, if after seven days from today, being the 9th of March 2023 no action is taken against the Orogun Senator , we shall return to the street in a bigger way to agitate for our lawful rights. Meanwhile, I wish to thank the Management and Staff of TANTITA SECURITY SOLUTIONS for the recent arrest of some Pipeline vandals and oil thieves in Oghior, EMADAJA and environs. May God bless you. Others who also spoke revealed that the Orogun Senator via his brother Jimmy is paying some Youths Sixty Thousand naira(60,000) monthly unlike the Ijaws and Itsekiri who are paying their subjects two hundred Thousand naira (200,000)monthly.
